Our Story

Water2Wine

Two decades ago, while Pastor Kyle was in high school, God put a Calling on his heart to open an establishment that marries his faith with his passions for hospitality & teaching. Water2Wine is a reimagined means to be a church, one that mirrors Jesus' choice to dine with sinners rather than saints alone. It offers a comfortable setting to share libations and delicious potluck inspired meals with the hopes that you'll come to know Jesus more fully along the way. Come for the food & drinks. Stay for the relationships built.

Our Mission is simple: To be a comfortable, contemporary setting in which to share delicious food & drinks for a contemporary community of seekers. Helping the community to realize Relationship with Jesus in an authentic and casual environment.

Disclaimer: Not all churches are for everyone, and this may not be for traditional Christians. But if even a few are brought to know Jesus personally through this church plant, God's Will is accomplished. Jesus tells us that what God has joined together no man can separate; God has joined this vision of a new way of being a church to His brother. We are a community of unbelievers finding God in a bar; we are not a bar for Christians.

About: About

Focused on Sustainability

Spiritual Leader. Home Funeral Guide. Celebrant.

Pastor Kyle is an ordained minister in the tradition of the American Baptist Churches, USA (abc-usa.org). He has worked in the Service Industry for 17 years starting as a dishwasher and holding many different front-of-house positions, from server to supervisor. PK wants to help others to feel comfortable discussing their faith or their lack thereof and knows that a glass of wine can facilitate such discussions. His ministry is to and for the unbeliever, the outcast, and the reviled-- whether that be in the eyes of the society we live in or in the eyes of the traditional church. He trusts that Jesus will meet each person where they are and change them for the better. PK is openly queer and endeavors to help all come to know Jesus more fully and intimately while living an authentically Christian life every day of the week. Pastor Kyle has always been a bit on the morbid side; he is a NHFA Proficient Home Funeral Guide (as defined by the National Home Funeral Alliance, homefuneralalliance.org) endeavoring to recapture the centuries old sustainable care for our dead within our community. PK educates the greater community we are a part of within greater Boston on green burial practices and caring for our own dead at home. He was married to his Husband, Tim, in 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Needham and has two Jordanian Spur-thighed Tortoises (Lilith & Leviathan).

Ever been hurt by the church? PK has too; ask him about his coming-out testimonial if you want to swap war stories sometime.
