Tavern and church community in one authentic setting

Conceived in 2021, Water2Wine is a church reimagined for the 21st century. We start with local beer and cider varieties. Then we add wine varietals from Israel. And finally pair each perfectly with our New England Potluck inspired menu. In a comfortable, contemporary setting for a community questioning the relevance of faith today. We are a community that praises and prays in the tavern and supports the greater local community & sustainable practices through our meaningful involvement in community service.

Our Story

Water2Wine

Two decades ago, while Pastor Kyle was in high school, God put a Calling on his heart to open an establishment that marries both his faith and passions for hospitality & teaching. Water2Wine is a reimagined means to be a church, one that mirrors Jesus' choice to dine with sinners rather than saints alone. It offers a comfortable setting to share libations and delicious potluck inspired meals with the hopes that you'll come to know Jesus more fully along the way. Come for the food & drinks. Stay for the relationships built.

Our Community Service is highly specialized: helping others to care for God's creation with our final acts. As part of our commitment to help the greater Boston community realize our need for sustainability in all aspects of life, we train others in green burial and funeral practices. Pastor Kyle is a NHFA Proficient Home Funeral Guide (as defined by the National Home Funeral Alliance, homefuneralalliance.org) who teaches and coaches others in best ways to care for and honor our dead in the intimacy of our own homes as well as ways in which we can sustainably send our loved ones to their final resting places.
